Flower Mirror
The Flower Mirror is an interactive kinetic sculpture containing 500 independently moving flowers. The flowers react in real-time to the movement of the person standing in front of it and display their reflection in daisies.
How It Works
The Flower Mirror is a “kinetic” or mechanical mirror. It uses a camera to track the shape, position, and movements of the user and displays them in real-time using a grid of 500 flowers, controlled by individual servo motors. Alternately, when the button is pressed, the flowers move based on a pre-programmed animation.
